    are you saying this stuff contains asbestos?

    if so you are screwed and it will cost you a lot to dispose of.

    if it is asbestos you have removed incoorectly and pray the EPA doesn't find out.

    if it has asbestos and you have chopped it up like you said, yer health should be more of an issue now.

    if it does not contain any asbestos do the right thing and pay to have it placed in a proper land fill

    actually, here in MI, it is legal for a homeowner to LEGALLY dispose of asbestos in the weekly trash, If removal is PAID for, it needs to be disposed of in the proper dump(I have a friend who is an abatement worker)

    In Illinois a homeowner can remove and dispose of ACM without being regulated. It's the paid professionals that have to jump through hoops.
