This axle came out of a 67' chevy 3/4 ton 2wd pickup. This is the original rear end from the truck-never modified or tampered with. It has 32 teeth on the ring gear but I don't know how many are on the pinion. I can't see the pinion teeth. So I don't know the ratio yet. It must be somewhere between 4.10 and 4.56 it always revved really high at 55mph
    1.What is the axle called?
    2.What is the gear ratio?
3.Is that a factory spool or a detroit locker? BOTH TIRES ALWAYS SPIN!!
Please help me. I have been trying to find this information out for a long time. I get so many different answers from people that live around here. I need some credible feedback. If you don't know-please don't reply Click on the link to see the axles.

That is an old Eaton I beleive. I am pretty sure they came with factory "no-Spin's" and 4.57's

Go to www.stovebolts.com and ask there, they specialize in '72 and earlier chevy trucks and cars. Someone there will know about it.
