nice truck,,,,really nice.....just doesnt suit my needs, so its not worth that much to me....however, going by the looks and the description, i'd say it would make some one a nice show truck to drive and show....its probably real capable off road, its just too damn nice!!! be fun at moab to cruise around, just stay away from potatoe salad hill!!!!

oh yeah,,,,to answer your question, it would probably be worth 7000 to 10000 dollars to the right buyer.....remember, banks aint gonna loan anybody the money for it because of its age..regardless of its condition....unless you got a personal loan for the amount...

    Hey,
It is mine. But I'm about to go to College next year, and considering that I built that thing by hand, I can't let it sit in a parking lot all day every day. I know it sucks, but life sucks.

nah...life is all good. Just think of how much beer that thing will buy you in college! Haha. I wouldn't be able to imagine selling a beautiful truck like that...around here you'd be a chick getter in one like that. They just dont seem to fall for a good ol beater honda...those guys are outta luck. HAHA. But each must choose his own path, good luck on yours!

Every teenage kid in America will want it. Problem is, most can't afford it. And as stated earlier, banks won't loan any money for it. It's too old for them to mess with. So you have to find someone that has cash-in-hand and really wants a 4WD show truck that only has a 305 under the hood and is willing to pay way over any blue-book value for a 1979 Blazer. [IMG]

I did a quick look over at Edmunds used price web site. They only go back to 1990, and show a loaded 1990 Silverado K5 to be worth about $4,200 in a private sale and $5,500 retail dealer price. Your rig, while extrememly nice, is 11 years older than that. You seldom get back the money that you can pour into an old vehicle. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but that's the reality of the situation. I hope that you do find a buyer that's dripping with cash and can't wait to get your rig home. I'll just be very surprised if you find them quickly....
