OK,
I plan on offering FREE 20 meg web sites with all the trimmings and FREE email, here is the deal, I can set it up so it would be like this:

http://yourname.coloradok5.com and for email yourname@coloradok5.com

Or would you prefer, if I can swing it:

http://yourname.myk5.com and for email yourname@myk5.com

Why put a thing of beauty (your K5) on any page like Geocities, Yahoo, tripod etc with a long address and email at hotmail, yahoo etc. your K5 and email should be here!!
Please let me know so I can get this together as fast as I can.
Steve

I like this one because it also advertises coloradok5.com,
I have refered Blue Knight and a couple of others to this site (who havent had time to check it out yet) and if we all started posting Blazer pages with CK5.com as the end it would be excellent advertising.

Thats what I was thinking, but then again if I use myk5.com, I would put links and banners on it to coloradok5.com. I thought myk5.com would be shorter and easier to use for email, and by the way some company already has CK5.com, those jerks. [IMG]

Just a little tip of my hat to you, Steve. I can't believe how far your page has come..........and now this!! Keep up the good work, Brother!! I agree that "myk5" is shorter and more convenient, but we deserve to pay homage to all the work you constantly do by using the "coloradok5" handle..... it's the right thing to do!

I"m interested in what your proposed site would offer. I'm currently using Geocities and I like the online editing. Would your software offer that, or is it all FTP. ALso, with geocities the address are comparable to what you are suggesting. My address is www.geocities.com/corey_perez not much different. I like the coloradok5.com one tho. What about www.coloradok5.com/your_name and e-dress yourname@coloradok5.com

Let us know what features your proposed site would offer. Also, would individuals beable to have more than 1 site, or would we be limited to just 1 regestered & would they be intergrated into our logon?

I like the myk5.com one. Shorter and easier to remember. When will this take place?

I say whatever.coloradoK5.whatever. Sure, myK5.com is easier to remember, but I like the idea of getting this page more traffic. It is by far the best 4x4 site on the web, bar none! I think you are doing a great job. Oh, and for those who edit their pages on-line: even if this site does not provide such a feature, you can either link to an older site from here, copy the HTML over here and link to images there---there are virutally limitless options. I personally love the idea of having the world's K5 pictures in one spot on the web! Oh, and the e-mail idea is fantastic. Will you be offering POP3, Steve?

I vote for the MyK5.com version. It's easier to remember and to type. I see there'll be no problem advertsing coloradok5.com in it, since you already have myk5.com up and ready to rumble. I'm sure you'll have plenty of banners to click to get to ColoradoK5.com.

My God! I can't believe how far this is going already. Way to go Steve!!!! I guess Geocities will be mad at you after this[IMG].

One question: How much space will we have on the email? For a reference, the 4Mb I got on zdnetmail.com are almost full. My complete Website is less than 1Mb. Maybe you can have an option to choose how much out of the 20Mb go to email and how much go to your website? Maybe I should just shut up and be grateful for all you're giving us[IMG].

Thanks again, Steve.

Hmmm,,, tough one.. I like the short name, but also like the advertising the long name gives you.
One question,, will you let us put our own ColoradoK5 gif/jpg banners on our pages, or will you force us to use
those floating banners? I would rather pay for a site and not have to use floating auto pop up banners. I HATE those! (like 99% of all free web sites use) I would gladly plaster my page with working linked CK5 logos,, but not
the seperate floating windows.
Great Job on this Site, Steve

Re: Feature list for FREE home pages

I think coloradoK5 is the spirit of all of us. So we should keep it as our name. Steve, you've sacrificed a ton so we can all be together as fellow K5 owners. You choose, although personally I think that the

http://yourname.coloradok5.com and for email yourname@coloradok5.com . would be better for the site. Usually I've become pretty adept at ignoring banners.
