ok question #678 I've got these little blue plugs in a hole on each door next to the vent window. what is this hole access port? I don't remember having it on my other truck I had.

Les, this may be a long shot, but is it possible that it's a northern truck that may have had Ziebart rustproofing, or something similar? I seem to remember rustproofers using blue or yellow plastic plugs where they drilled before spraying. Just a guess.

I thought 71-72 had a hole where you described with a screw in it for window support???

I always wondered what those plastic plugs were for, myself. I've got '68 and '67 Chevys and the door sill is smooth on them. Vent window pivot tension, perhaps?Who knows?
