OK, with all the activity aimed at getting the advertising going, and with the ideas being thrown about, let's get with this regional concept. I have over 25 local (within 2 hours) PNW names on my list that are but a starting point - there are so many local guys in the Portland area with nice Blazers/Jimmy's it isn't funny - this could be a real fun thing. Use this volume and the buying power to help the overall cause.

PNW guys - are you in? If so, what do we need to do to get this going? Simple as a meeting time and place and sit down and talk about the details? How involved do we get - bylaws, formal stuff, what???? Have a Seattle based group and a Portland based one?????

Bring on the thoughts.................

*Steve, any issues with us doing this or anything you want to comment on, please do so***

No problemo I'll spear head it to. With your Balzer contacts my ability to get deals and possible just possible sales position at 4 wheel parts it could work.

I would love to be a member of the seattle area group. Let me know when and where and I will try to be there. I need to buy a few things so I will buy what I can from the advertisers of CK5.

Well lets kick around the founding of it. I want CK5 as the backer of our group. Its just a cool group to belong to and great people here. But if necessary I would even be willing to form our own Club ,group of just Blazer owners. I have knowledge of website design, some serious connections for good deals on parts and a bunch of friends that are just as knowledgeable. I may becoming and employee or 4 wheel parts and well will have a nice connection there for everyone to. We should get together a jam session or such at a Pizza Parlor one Friday night and work on this. I know we can put it together. I really want it to be part of Colorado K5. hopefully steve goes for it.

yeah, that'd be cool. OBH is a good club, but when I go out with them its usually almost all jeeps, LCs, and stuff like that. Going on runs with a dozen or more full-sizes would be awesome! I know when i went to TSF with OBH, it was kinda a bummer cause sometimes there were like "well, we shouldnt go to <insert trail name here>, the full-size guy would be tearing mirrors off and stuff." =( at any rate, yeah, a local group would rock.

BTW, one OBH guy came up with a "work on your rig day" idea which was pretty cool... he was basically going to provide the space, air, electricity and BBW grill...and peeps coming over would bring their rigs, some tools, and some food stuffs. Basically just hang out all day and work on and BS about their trucks. I dont know how many times I have needed some simple tech help, an extra hand, or some help problem solving etc and not had any 4x4 buddies around to go to. At any rate, coordinating times where lots of peeps can attend is tough sometimes, but I think it might be worth it. Just an idea. Right now I am swamped at school, but during the spring sometime, maybe we could have that kinda get together.

Hey guys! That sounds like a great idea....someone kicked an idea around of making "business cards" that could be passed out to other k5 owners to get the name out, I think that is a great idea as I have seen plenty of k5 owners here in eugene and 55Willy and I are the only two who hang out here (I believe). Anyway, I just finished my online form so I am officially orange! I am up for anything and I'll see if I can come up with any marketing ideas as well.

Actually I thought about that in the event that Steve doesnt go for a PNW chapter starting a Blazer club. I really hope he does.

There are quite a few areas to go wheelin in the immediate area.
The Scappoose area has lots to offer and it is alot closer than TSF
I am trying to get my boss to spearhead a run as he knows where they all are. (he lives in Scappoose)
He has a 72 K5 on 39's. But no puter

There is nothing in St. Helens, Well there are logging roads but I take my C20 up those.
I have been playing on an abondoned road that I found right by my house, it needs to be cleared as there are trees in the way but it looks like it could be alot of fun. I am going to go hike it later on and see what is up there.

yeah its all logging roads to play on around there. The run logging orad I went on was hogged out by huge tires at least 44's or I have scene 48" terra tires used in that area for mud
