Well, happy birthday... I might be able to make it. I was planning on delivering a motor and some other parts to 84gmcjimmy and might just talk him into pushing the delivery back so I can make it up there. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Cool beans, brother!!! Just tell Steve that it's GOTTA work out that way, brother. I'm sure he'll understand... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

BTW, you guys with the "/forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif", quit thinking about it and start planning on it. It would be great to FINALLY meet a bunch of you face to face. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I'd try to go... if only I didn't seem to have like 3-4 different events or things to do every weekend through the end of October. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

No have been still working graveyard, just finished (thank god) so hope to get back to a normal shift and get some work done on it. Should be getting a air compressor next week (need to collect some pieces to wire it, hehe ) and hope to borrow my bosses wire feed. /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif Then will get it done. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I have 5 acres with lots of room for camping, brother. There's an awesome swimming lake about 5 minutes away and the Kootenay River is right across the road if you want to go fishing.

So, you could fit a 30' motor home pulling a trailer?? Also, is there and good rafting on the Kootenay by your property? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif I've always wanted to combine a rafting/wheeling trip all into one. This would make it even better!

No problem with the motorhome/trailer combo, other than the fact that I wouldn't necessarily have a shady spot for you to park something that big in.

As far as rafting goes, I'm right across the road from the river. There's no rapids right around my place but I could find out how close some are if you're interested.....

SWEET! No problem on the shade. It's FSC with a generator that runs the AC if it gets too hot. It's my brother-in-law's and he lets me borrow it for trips whenever I want to. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

Yes please! I'm not looking for anything too aggressive. Just enough to make the flaot fun. My kids are still pretty young so I don't do much over class 2-3 rapids with them.

I mentioned making this trip to my wife last night and she seemed up for it. We'll have to see how the $$ situation is by then, but right now we're leaning towards coming up! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I hear you on the money thing, brother. It always seems to be an issue with us when planning trips too..... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I guess the postive thing this time is that once you're there, everything is free. Well, almost. Admission to "The Lazy U Ranch Campground" is one roll of toilet paper for the outhouse...... /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
