It's looking like Badin Lake area is the best, due to kids and wives, and the availability of toilets and showers.

We need to get reservations made to be able to accomodate everyone. Please, don't fill this thread up with useless info, as I get confused easily. If you don't want to be included in the numbers for the campsite registration, please don't vote, because you'll throw the numbers off. I will make the reservations on Sunday afternoon at 4 PM based on the poll results.

I have no idea what the campsites are like. Please just include me in a site, let me know how much $$ and who to send it to. I need enough room for a suburban and a tent. Thanks.

I voted. One big question is how many tow rigs and trailers are coming? They take up alot of room. We will be driving our rig up.

I posted what I counted in the roll call post.

I'll just collect cash when we get there. That way, only those that show will have to pay.

Do I need to make it 4 sites? One just for parking and people overflow? Only 7 people have voted so far, but since I stepped up, I don't wanna f it up.

My wife won't camp without the popup, it's shorter than the Jimmy when it's set up, but bigger than a tent. If there are tow rigs and extra vehicles, I would rather have the extra space, than to have someone show up and there not be room. With as many groups showing up, the cost would still be minimal.

You gotta let me know before tomorrow at 4 PM.

Depends on if I get the Diesel Excursion within the next few days, But either way I'll have a trailer and a rig of some sort... I'm not driving that's for sure.. Just need some room for the tahoe and maybe a tent....

Campsites 26, 27,28 and 29 have been reserved for us. There should be more than enough room to fit everyone that replied to this post, plus the number of vehicles. The reservations for all 4 sites are for the nights of Friday, 20 October, and Saturday 21 Oct. The total cost was $148, so I would like to be able to split that up between everyone when we get there, depending what you use or how long you use it. Feel free to pay in parts if you can't fork out the cash :D.

Since the campsites are in my name, please review the rules of Uwharrie Natl Park, as I do not want to be held responsible for any damages or infractions of the law that I personally do not commit. I certainly trust that there will be no problems, but just needed to throw out that disclaimer.

    George

Alcohol is not allowed in any "built up" areas. That includes campgrounds, trails, primitive campsites, trails, group campsite, trails, group campsites or anywhere else that it is not allowed. Oh yeah, it is at least a 75$ fine if you get caught with booze in the forest, I dont know first hand, but I know somene that got cornswaggled once.
