    OK,

This is a widely discussed topic on this forum... I want to take a poll of what everybody thinks.

Here is a sketch of one of my ideas... ice blue metalic top, metalic white bottom, navy blue pin strip separating the two. Factory bumpers until I pun on S.E.C's front and rear bumpers... Then they would be painted navy blue to match pin stripe. Top would be painted metalic white to match bottom, and sanded smooth...

    1. Paint the hardtop to match the top half of the truck

2.Get rid of the blue body and wheelwell trim and stay with the factory color

    Just my opinion of course......

on point number 2 what do you mean by getting rid of the blue body? Are you talking about the blue bumpers, or the color blue completely?

The factory color is the ice blue...

    Thanks for the input [IMG]

IMHO I would do the white top w/ the whole body blue, and possibly do the top w/ a spray liner. My top is painted, was painted when the truck was done (so-so job), and I think it would look better with the Line-X or another spray liner. I say Line-X or something that is a little smoother and thinner than the Rhino Liner.

What I meant was get rid of the blue body trim and wheelwell trim, as in the little blue line 2/3 down the body. Sorry for the confusion.........

Actually I'm sure I will do what I like... There are 2 reasons I placed this post; 1) just to use the poll feature [IMG] 2) because somethings look good in your head, but not on a truck... That's why I'm talking the poll... [IMG]

Ok, now I found your "pole"...errrrr....I mean "poll"! [IMG][IMG] Yeah, do whatever makes you the happiest. Nothing like that feeling of accomplishment doing something yourself to your satisfaction. No matter what, it will still look good either way!!!
Sunday night was fun on the chat room!!! [IMG]

yea, we've had a few good sessions in the chat room... [IMG]

You know I've seen people get too creative with a paint job, and that just absolutely TERRIFIES me... At the same time I don't want my Blazer to look like every other one [IMG]

Thanks for all the input, and any other input... [IMG]

I personally think that looks a lot nicer. I have one question though- How do you plan on painting your body trim blue?

Actually, I just talked to the guy at the body shop here. They have trim, not the stock stuff, that can be painted. I guess there's a lot of different stuff that we can go with.

I was just looking at coloradok5's blazer, and it looks a lot the same...
