So I'm getting closer to finishing my basement pool/game room. Almost time to buy a pool table. Pretty sure it will be an 8ft table. I have room for that. If I went with a 9ft'er there would be more time I would need to use a short stick and I don't want to mess with that. So what I'm looking for from you that have bought tables, "What brand do you have a why did you buy it..happy with it??"
I have a Brunswick catalog but am not stuck on buying one. Have played on Olhausen tables = nice The American Heritage tables are nice too.
Saw some great deals in the paper for 9ft tables but I have to pass...dammit!

I won't buy a cheap table. I've played too many national level tournaments and leagues to own a ****ty table

    Thanks

I'd like to know the same stuff, can't help though. We are building a game room into our new home and planning to get a nice 8ft table, so the same opinions are wanted.

Here's mine. It's a Fischer and plays real nice. Pics don't do it justice. It's mahogany wood and olive felt. Kinda pricey, but I've got no regrets. My brother has a Brunswick, my best friend has a "Champion"... I think thats what its called. Anyhow both of them are always joking around about swap'n their table for mine when I'm outta town.

I have an 8ft World of Leisure solid oak table that is very nice to play on. I'll snap some pics for you tomorrow as the wife has the camera in the truck and will be gone for the night. :doah:

I've got a buckhorn table which has been great and seems to play well.

I'd go down to a local pool hall and see what they use.
