Out wheeling around today, in creek by my house. I noticed that while mildly twisting up the truck on rocks, that my roof makes a pretty loud pop. I've noticed it before, and it kind of freaks out the passenger.I am sure nothing toworry about. just curious how many others hear the same noise?

    In theory everything works

Mine does with the top off, but not with it on. I don't know exactly why it does it. It might explain why my doors leak at the top seal when it rains though.

When I flexed mine when it was complete, the back window would pop. It sounds like it is locking into place or something, but mine does this, my dads old 80 Blazer did it, and my grandpa's 70 did it as well. All with power rear windows. My fiberglass backhalf creeked really bad, but never cracked.

Before I started "fixing" the body on mine, it would do it on the street, just going around a turn. We went camping one weekend and did some real mild wheeling in my DD pickup, my buddies GF was riding gun and told me it just wasn't the same without the roof popping [IMG]

My 81 has been rolled so the roof doesn't pop anymore...but the floor under my feet does.[IMG]

DD, my rear window does the same thing...also power.

My '72 pickup does that when its flexed a lot. It sound like its right over my head. I think maybe its the joints where sheet metal is joined together on the cab. It makes me jump everytime it happens, even though it happens every time I go wheelin'.
