Ported Vacume Switch

    My ? is, the ported vacume switch on the thermostat housing has four ports, does it matter what order they are hooked up to the different divices and if any one knows what should they be hooked to and what order. (84 K5 350)

    Sorry, 3 yrs ago I took that POS off and threw it as far as I could, then I went and picked it up and threw it even farther! I don't think it ever worked for me. I just plugged everything it went to.

    It does matter where they go on the switch.If the lines are in the wrong place the wrong $hit will be happening at the wrong time on whatever its hooked to.I cant tell you what order they go in on yours but My 81 K5 has a good diagram on the core support.I got lucky.
