I've heard before that it possible to take the bottom two springs form a set of rear springs, add them to the front springs and get approx 4" of lift. Has anybody ever heard this or tried it?

Oh man you newbies are killing me.The front stock springs have a negative arch, whereas the rear have a positive arch.I've never heard of installing stock rear leafs in the front spring pack.Go to the For Sale forum and look for some 4" springs, commonly find them for $100.

Get lift springs !!!! Don't go messing with home made suspension if you don't know what you're doing. I'd really hate to hear that someone died in an accident becouse of home made parts. If you don't want to pay the price of new lift springs, there's lots of used for sale.
