can you use a counterweighted flexplate on a
    internally balanced motor ?

i am pretty sure my flexplate needs to be
nuetral balance one if my motor is internally
    balanced

externally balanced Flywheels are used on odler 454s and 400's only if you use them on a motor with a internaly balanced crank bad vibes/engine damage may/will occur

i then am assuming i found a bad gm typo /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
they offer a crate motor , ( that is internally balanced ),
and the part number for the flywheel comes up as
a counterweighted flywheel. i have had three dealers
tell me its right , and one dealer tell me not to use it
to use another one which he game me that part number and its a neutral balanced flywheel which is what i need .
