With the current post asking for non-tube bumper pics thought it would be nice to get a current post of tube bumpers too. I'm deciding between the two types and would like to see what people are running.

you can probably see what I made it from. old brushguard and 1 3/4" tube. Not sure but I want to add a bar up over the hood line so in event of a roll don't destroy rad. However it isn't permanent so I don't think I will do that.

Front bumper was built by board member Big J and the sliders are Toy Box.

The bumper has an removable-inegrated skid plate that protects the RE12000 that is mounted between the frame rails. As you can see in the side shot, this bumper only sticks out past the grill about 4" at the furthest point.

Did you make that bumper? I really REALLY like it. If it had a little more lean out it would be my ideal. that large loop looks like it would do like I said before and protect the rad and core support in event of a roll.

Yep, that's my latest project. I designed that stinger to help protect the radiator if I did roll it. The more the stinger leans out away from the center, the less protection it will provide. That's why I only put a slight angle out on it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
