san fran lose to the giants? c'mon now. at least jeff garcia wont lay down and give some one (micheal strahan) the nfl sack record...im lookin at you, brett favre, when i say that...ahem..

now for the rest. i agree on most except:
    philly will destroy tenn..
    kc will kill cleveland..
    orleans over the buccs..
    cincy over sd..
and as much as i hate the cowgirls, i think they'll take houston

Hahahaha, you snuck that little "healthy" clause in there just in case they lose tonight. Tiki Barber isn't healthy, but when the do lose he won't be the reason. I hate the Niners (being a Charger fan myself), but they have a solid team.

Yep, the Niners looked a lot shakier than people expected. I have Tiki on my Fantasy team, but didn't start him cause of that hammy. Hopefully my other boys can do more than just one touchdown.

    Re: potatos picks

This might be pretty cool deal to follow up on. "potato's picks of the week".
Do you think you could keep it up all year? Maybe toss in a "Double-tader" pick every week (double or nothing). We could toss in our own picks and see if we match up to the spud. *Just For Fun*.

Edit your first post with the real winners, and tally up the score.

Any other taders- 'er I ment takers?

one of the local papers has the betting fool, and he starts the season with $1000.
he makes the picks, and what he'll risk. he uses las vegas' line, and i think he just wins or loses the money - no odds.

if someone can come up with an online grid, we could start a CK5 football pool. just for bragging rights, to be able to call ourselves "Stud Spud".

    Re: potatos picks

Not to rain on anybody's parade here, but picking winners without taking the point spread into consideration isn't too difficult a task. Throw some points into the mix and those easy favorites have to win by 9 in order to beat the spread. That's how our office pool works, and many times a 10-5 record take it home for that week.

    Re: potatos picks

Ain't that the truth! The pool I'm in has a point spread system also. I got 5 right with the points, if I didn't have points to contend with it would have been about 9 or 10. Damn, those 2 1/2 point spreads and damn those field goal winning games! /forums/images/icons/mad.gif
