How do you do a potluck while camping? I hate to be a bummer here but it would be possible for Friday I guess but how do we keep things cold/hot until Saturday?

What about taking a collection on Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon and then going to town and buying some steaks, chicken, cole-slaw, potatoe salad and desert on each day. That way the only cooking going on is the BBQ and if we all bring our own throw away utensils and plates then we are set!! This would just leave more time for wheelin, bull shittin and beer drinkin!!

    Just my $.02 and experience.

Unless they have ice machines or a general store at the campgrounds then we'll need to get ice from town for our coolers anyway.

I agree that the traditional way to do a "potluck" won't work at a campsite. Keep inmind too if all thease rigs showup we would have pleanty of food to go around, I'm sure. Duno how the group campsite is configured but I would emagine we will all be spread out everywere.........
    Dan-
    what about my campfire question??????

They do have a general store at hollisterhills & Campfires are permitted in there pits. Also I asked today if we could keep the gate unlocked they said that we could. But suggested that we close it and not lock it......Dan
