There was one on a '79 I picked for parts, and I think I'd heard they started in '78. I could be wrong, though, can remember specifically.

I dont have one on my '84. But everything else is electric.
Maybe rear power window was a seperate option.

I've got two 1983's, a Jimmy Sierra Classic and a Blazer Silverado. The classic has power, the silverado has crank...if the Silverado package was the same as the Sierra (I think it was), the rear power must have still been an option.

My 79 GMC High Sierra came with power windows, and a manual rear window. However I bought an 89 power gate and installed it and the wiring harness. Works great. The switch for the dash is like less than 20.00 and the gate with wiring harness cost me 300, but it is in excellent condition.
