power glide trans,??

    my friend has one,any one use one in their truck. i have a 400 and it's cool,just wondering how a 2 speed would work? i mostly mud.(i should say he has one from his 68 chevelle,for sale.) thanks /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

    they make new planetary gears for Powerglides so you could go as low as 2.11 but thats the lowest I can find. Walker Evans' crawler with ifs and irs had a powerglide.
