I replaced my manual tailgate with a power tailgate and i got the complete wiring harness with it. Can someone please take a picture of where the button is located on the dash when they come stock? I want to locate mine where it would normally be. Oh yeh.. I have a 79.

Hey, trust me you don't want to put the switch where the factory one is, it's really kind of in a stupid spot, hard to reach from the drivers seat unless you got long arms like me, just put it wherever it works for you

Yeah....no kidding Sara. It's stupid. [IMG] I have to lean to the side to do it. A real pain if you are driving and belted in- which you would be. Mount it within reach. Besides it'd be cool to have it where you want it for a custom look......but that is just my 2 cents! [IMG]

really really bad spot. you can't reach it quickly and safely is trying to roll your rear window down for venitlation while driving. Just to let you know mine is near the ashtray. If the hole wasnt already cut I would have put it just under the dash near my onboard air gauge close to me
