power widow moter vents

    I just got some tred plat to put on my doors where that carpet gos and there are vents there I gess they are for the power windows. And I was wondering if it would hurt if I covered them whit the plat becaus I dont to haft to make vents in the plat.

    ps the sutff I got is like 1/4" thick and I am going to polsh it so it will look real nice

    I don't think it will hurt because the carpeted part covers those vents, and it doesn't affect it. I don't think those vents are for the motors anyway.

    I got custom panels built for the doors on the bottom for speakers and they covered over the vent. I don't know what its for but there is also a vent in the doorjamb part of the door so it should be allright.
