Power Window Problems

    My power windows on my 85 Blazer run like turtles. what can i do to speed these things up? do the motors need to be replaced or what?

    Most likely you need to remove the motor and regulator from the door and clean off all the old grease and grime then relube it with new grease and it should then work fine. The reason that they start to slow down is because dust and dirt that gets inside that door area starts to attach itself to the grease and it becomes sticky and wants to slow the motor speed. I will be fixing my passenger door soon myself.

    While your in there, go ahead and check to see if the motor is getting a full 12 volts.

    My right one jams up in the window seals. Time to replace those.
