Power window won\'t Roll Down anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!

It started off with the window just going slow when rolling it down,
then then one day it just did'nt work....
how hard is this to fix.... how much is a motor for the power window? I took the door panel off and it looks like a F*$cking mess.... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kinda lame, I have the top off, one window rolled down and both side windows open.... my passengers fight for the back seat cuz there is free flowing A/C back there...

Which window? The tailgate and the doors operate differently. The tailgate has a cable that runs from the motor to the regulator. The grease in the cable turns into a solid over the years and binds the cable. Yank it off and check how well it spins. If it doesn't then either lube the heck out of it or replace it.

I just freed up mine this weekend.

Buy some silicone spray and spray the side track that the window slides in. Spray it a lot so it runs down the track and lubes up the window. Then open up the door guts again and spray the rollers, tracks, and hinge points/rivets. Hopefully that'll get it going up and down again, and you can properly grease all the tracks. once you have the window up, reach inside the door with the silicone and spray the rest of the track.
My passenger window is now like a rocket, but it still slows down at the same place it used to, just not as bad. I was even thinking maybe the track inside the door may be bent, whcih is why it slows.

    Anyway, good luck.

Its my passenger side door window....
I did lube the hell out of it once and it worked fine ... then it started not working....
Would'nt I still hear the motor trying to work... cus I'm not hearing nothing....... like the motor just died.....

Yeah, you should hear the motor attempt if the window was jammed. Obvioulsy you tried it in both directions with the same results? Do al your other windows work? I believe they are all on the same circuit breaker. do you have a volt meter? Check the voltage at the switch, make sure you didn't accidentally knock any wires off. There's a screw cap over the switch, then you have to open the door to the contacts and you can test voltages and visually inspect connections there. I knocked out the "up" lead when I did mine this weekend. It was a blast trying to get it back in, but I did.
Also see if you can get in there with a mirror and light to check for anything popped out of place.

I did the tailgate window this weekend too. I had picked up a new cable from a junker and hung it in a vise and poured oil down it for a week. I installed it saturday, and the window is fast and QUIET now... Just like Harry said, the old one was binding up, slowing the motor and making noise.

It might have jumped the track ,and wedged itself agianst the rubber, and the track...Mine has done that a couple of times.

Also watch your volt meter while trying to raise/lower the window. If it doesn't move, your window isn't binding in the track because your motor isn't doing anything. If you get a serious voltage drop, your motor or your window is binding.
