Anyone have PowerAcoustik speakers, or listened to them or used them. I'm going to replace my original speakers with 2 sets fo 6.5 inch speakers and i came across these on a web site. the cost seems pretty reasonable. anyone have any comments on them.

The only Power Acustic speaker that I sell is their tweeters. And man do they kick ass. Listen, I dont believe in buying cheap equiptmen as I have preached, but I do like their tweeters, they rock and they are cheap. As for the rest, well, so far so good.

Their 6x9s are pretty good too. I plan on picking up a pair tomorrow :)
I also have a PowerAcoustik AM/FM/CD/AUX deck and a PowerAcoustik Fire & Ice 400w amplifier.
The deck is good, but it doesn't remember where on the CD it was when you turn it off and it's really horrible at playing really cheap CDRs. (Mind you, the deck isn't the only CD player I've had problems with those discs in.. no wonder they were 75 cents a piece :) )

    * '85 Jimmy - Completely stock [except for the stereo and purple interior lights :)]
