Im thinking about buying a powertrax locker for my 30 spline 10 bolt and was wondering if I wanted to use the same locker in a Dana 44, could I use it in the Dana?

At "Desert Rat" they have the lock right for the 10 bolt and the dana 44 listed with different part numbers so I guess there must be some difference.

NO! They're NOT the same. That's why way back when, D44 fronts were wanted and 10 bolts were swapped out--because there weren't any lockers available for 10 bolts.

Now the 10 bolt has a complete aftermarket, so neither is more desireable.
