Wheel Bearings are fairly easy your gonna need a hub socket and a set off allen wrenches and some snap ring pliers and a small pick and a good chiltons type repair manual as far as watr proofing make sure you run a closed element aircleaner and that all ypour vent lines are in good shape and routed to the highest point in your engine compartment try a search for some other water proofing tips /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
