    Just wondering if this is about average or if I should look somewhere else. Thanks

    36"x12" 1/4" plate $68.30
    36"x12" 5/16" palte $76.18

    I think I would look elsewhere that seems like a hosin'. I assume those are mild steel numbers.

    Ok just called another shop in town and they said $9.13 per square foot so about $28. How's that sound /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    that sounds more like it. Hard to say for sure right now with the way steel prices are changing. I think you are ok there.

    i bought 12"x24" 1/4" plate for like $10 last week, the guy who runs the shear gave me 12"x34" instead of what i paid for /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
