Well, this guy I'm parting the 73 K20 out for told me not to sell the 205 and adapter for $250, but for $400!!! I'm not one to call bullsh!t, but isn't that a little outrageous for that? This 205 even has the 10 spline front output. Tell me if I should talk this guy down.

$300 might be more real. Those adapters can be hard to come by. I broke one and was not able to find one anywhere. I had to buy a new one from GM. I found another one here for $100 and I snapped it up for a spare.

    I bought one last year....for $300...
It was a complete 73'350/205 fixed yoke combo w/shafts....
    Low miles on them too.

I think $200-$300 is a more realistic price range. If it were a 400/205 with the more desirable adapter(there are two, correct?) Then I could see $400 and higher.

I bought an 80 version slip yoke 205 for a th350 for 120 cash and new 3" ProComp tow strap (which I got for free) It came with the rear shaft and the shifter bolt and shifter and the 'h' bar but not the lil link between them. I converted it to a 32 spline fixed yoke for about 120 and while I had it apart did a twin stick and replaced all the seals and one bearing that had a cracked race.

I just bought a 400/205 slip yoke output combo with shifter and crossmember and another 205 with fixed rear output for $375. $400 for a 350/205 adapter and 205 sounds a little steep to me!!! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
