price for used axles

    I saw an add for a dana 60 and a 14blt axle, the dana was 900 and teh 14 was 400 both used. I have not inspected them yet. is this a good price for these.

    For the 60 yeah it is.... what's the 14 got? I mean a locker, disc brakes or anything...?

    The 60 is a good price but the 14 is a little high. I sell used axles and get a $1000 for a 60 with either 4:10 or 4:56's and $500 for a 14ff with 4:56's and a Detroit or $300 open. Price will also vary with the area of the country you are in. Overall if they are in good shape it is not a bad deal.

    Thats about the right price for a 60 in my neck of the woods, thats if you can find one. 2 years ago I could find a d60 all day long for $300 and about 2 weeks ago I had to drive 1330 miles round trip to find one. If you look hard you can find 14 bolts for $100, but usually they go for 300-400 for a plainjane. Like said up above depends on where your at.......
