price on a 83 diesel motor

    a regular customer just yanked his 6.2 out of his 83 truck and put in a 350. so the motor is complete. it has had work done on the injectors and pump and I was thinking of picking it up so I could do the intake upgrade that Rene did. whats the price tag??? he said just make an offer,but was turned down when I said $4,LMAO

    Tough call...as you know the first real $ figure put out there can lead to a poor bargaining position. I'd insist on hearing some sort of an honest ballpark number before bargaining any further.

    Either that or offer him $150...if it wan't good enough for him to keep then why would he think it's worth all that much to someone else?/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Can you confirm how well it ran? Does he have verifiable compression numbers? Verifiable mileage?
