ok, my buddy has an mid 90s GMC jimmy...when he punches the gas.. the truck maxes out at 2500-3000 rpms and stumbles.. not like when you redline something and its constant... when he eases into it... it goes just fine to redline..

it maxes out at 2500-3000 and stumbles..when driving and in park...

he was told that he may have the wrong fuel pump... it also makes a whining noise.. i think it is the fuel pump... but just thought i would ask and see what everyone else thought..
