Problem with new cowl induction hood

    I have a 77 blazer and i bought a brand new steel cowl induction hood i was wondering where do you mount the winshield washer hoses at i live in pa and they are required for inspection so i have to put them on there some how im sure someone knows how to any info is greatly appreciated.

    You can always run hoses direct to the wipers............just neck them down with smaller tubing/hose and tie wrap them to the wipers for the inspection............in fact they work better that way.

    Where did you get the hood from and how much was it? Was it costly to ship?

    I got the hood from this site on the internet truckmax.com the hood was 449 and total to ship all together was like 530 so 80 buck shipping which aint to bad cause some places charge 150.Its awesome though comes by 18 wheeler i had to meet the guy behind home depot cause it couldnt get up to my house.But i got it within a week so its definitly a fast delievery email me if you have any questions

    Ouch, I sell that same hood for $355, But it is almost impossible to ship without getting damaged!!

    Stock GM C/K wipers from about '85 or so up have the squirters mounted on the wipers already, probably pretty easy to find at a wrecking yard.

    BTW, for all considering that kind of swap in an '81-84, (from firewall mounted to wiper) the steel cowl cover piece is different '81-84 and '85 up. (at least '85 is the earliest I've seen wiper mounted squirters) Took me awhile to figure that one out lol.
