I was comparing the ProComp All terrains and the General AP tires, in the 33, 12.5 size. Has anyone run these tires and which would your reccommend., what are the pros and cons to each. Also has anyone done business with national tire company www.natltire.com , I was wondering if they were a reputable company or not. Thanks

I'd go with the General's..
Price is great.. and they last a long time..
I'm upgrading to General MT's in 35x12.50x 16.5 in the next two months..

Round Rock, Texas I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. www.rocko.rockcrawler.com

No sorry, we can't help ya!! HA just kiddin' with ya!

The generals are good, I've used them before. National tire is a good store for me. I have have nothing but good experiences with them.

And welcome to the site, we'll change your mind soon enough about the K5.

I don't know that it is that relevant, but I've heard that ProComp tires are made in the same factories as Cooper Tires, and I absolutely love my Cooper STT's in 33x1250. Just a thought.

Yea what trusty said...... I have the 33 Procomp's. I love them. I have about 6000 miles on them now. The only problem I see with them is they are getting loader going down the road.........Dan

If it ain't broke.......Don't fix it....

National W&T rocks... I got my wheels from them.

I have 35" Pro Comps and they are a sweet tire... no complaints except they aren't a true 35" tires... but then only BFG's and swampers are pretty much. I would go Pro Comps or BFG's... Generals are ok, but I think the pro comps are a much better tire. same w/ BFG's

BFG is pretty optimistic with their sizes too. My old 33's were less than 31" tall. If you want truth in sidewall advertising stick with Super Swamper...

Even Swamper (Denman) doesn't get their sizes right.

I would say screw the Procomps because that's FWPW in disguise. I had a set of Wild Countrys (same as General) and they were great. Still have them in fact, they just won't wear out!

Friends of mine run the Generals and they're almost as good if not as good as the BFGs. I run the BFGs.

Forgot to mention that I have no experience with the Pro-Comps but I've seen them used on pulling trucks with as good results as the BFGs.

For All Terrains it doesn't much matter, if you venture off-road, they're terrible, but on the road, they SHINE!!

I can't say I've ever ran Pro Comp tires but right now I have the General 33's. I got them from Discount Tire with an outrageous warranty. I can't remember how long but it was rediculous. I am very happy with them. But i have never measured them so I don't know if the size is accurate.
