Any more info on the reindex for the 208/700R?
I'm getting ready to put mine back in and I was wondering why can't I just rotate the case one transmision to transfer bolt hole counter-clockwise! /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif I'm not running a lift(that I know of) so it wouldn't impact the front drive shaft too much. The oil pump for the t-case would still get fluid(probably more than before)! Anybody done this?-->Better question: anybody blown up their t-case doing this /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

It has very little to do with weather you can... it has everything to do with the clearance between the front CV and the tranny pan on the 700R4.... If you clock the 208, the CV will hit the tranny pan... Go look at it and you'll see what I mean! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Makes sense! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Didn't notice that with the drive shaft missing! Now I'm really interested in the engineering that is going into this project! Any pics out there? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

After some minor changes Matt (outlaw612) now has the finished product and should be installing it soon. He said that he will do a write up on it. Sorry we didn't take any pics while we made it. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
