    /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif You know better... Sweet!

Well, I'm now playing catch up. I've got a complete set of spicer axles on the way including 35 spline stubs, spicer forged u-joints and Warn drive flanges. My current spicer units are going to be relegated to spares. Also getting close on a doubler with twin stick 205...

    1. yes the exhaust is in the way, I'm going to run it to the exhaust shop and get thier opinion on it.

    2. Yes, its pretty insanse. 3rd gear and ~10 MPH. Rita can walk next to it.

    3. I hope so, I don't want to but driving on the face of a dune and lose PB, PS, and the engine all at once and be stuck like last time.

it will stay in 1st or 2nd until i shift, but in Drive it'll do the work for me

it crawled up Kevin's driveway pretty well today, no compression braking tests yet. that can happen on the way back to camp from Sledgehammer /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I guess its not FULL manual if ya can leave it in 3rd and it'll still shift for ya.
I think the artcarr valve body is the only full manual that retains the compression braking in 1st and 2nd.

Whats good about full manual is you could start out in 2nd or 3rd gear if you wanted to instead of 1st.... but i'm afraid with a manual/auto valve body like you and i have zakk, you'll still have to rev it up in 1st to overcome the governor before it'll shift into 2nd gear.

I'll have to have you take a look at it then. I was spinning it to about 4800 and no shifting. interesting...
