Oh and before any of you vultures start getting excited, the D60 is MINE!

A little more info to fill in the blanks for Nick. He bought the truck from a guy in Junction that had the truck listed on CO4x4. I actually did the purchase for him as I'm in Delta helping fred2mihi move into their new house.

It's a 350/465/205 combo. It has hydroboost and a bad power steering pump leak. The motor runs real well.

Nick is going keep the 465/205 for his truck. Actually what we're going to do is swap the TBI motor into this truck. Swap thse front clip from his '89. He'll use this '79 cab because it'll be easier for the emissions. Plus it won't look as questionable as a pickup cab sporting an '89 K5 VIN.

We're going to ditch the sheetmetal bed of course. Bob the frame. Swap his axles in. I don't know what he is going to do with the suspension. I'm trying to convince him to keep the 56" rears from the 1-ton. Maybe run a shackle flip. The only concern is the flex of the rear springs because they're 1-ton, I'm sure there's a remedy for that.

Maybe a 1-ton frame can stand up to the Hammer. :dunno:

Nick you realize this will be the end of Big Jim. :(

This is so sad, I have so many parts laying around I can't think of anything I would want.

Um....check the sig there homeboy, I have a '90 :p:. And yea that's pretty much how it's going to go down....still want to fully box the frame though  I guess I don't know what I'm going to do aout the suspension either, gonna have to do some research, becuase I'm going to be moving the wheelbase no matter what, so it might be easier to do a shackle flip so I can place the rear hanger wherever I need it relatively easily . My front springs are also trashed, considering if I should do tuff country HD or BDS...wonder if BDS's warranty covers S-ing?

My days are now filled with dreaming up ways to keep Scott from his ever-growing family. It's like a battle between Nicole and me...she pops out a baby to try and keep him home, and I take on another HUGE project to try and keep him away from home :haha:
