has anyone tried the remote reservior Cavalier pump?
any info on whether it differs internally from the truck pump?
is the bolt pattern the same?

I'm running a remote resevoir pump from an '87 Corvette. It came with the engine. [IMG] Works great except at idle. Then it's a bit harder to turn the wheel. Not nearly as bad as manual steering though. [IMG]

My '89 Jimmy with a 6.2 has a regular pump but with a remote resevior instead of the ham-can resevior. I know the earlier diesels (82-86) had the ham-can, don't know when they switched.

Real trucks don't have spark plugs!
