There area few places on the net to find part numbers but its hard to get prices. There is one on ebay for a NP205 for $100 right now. New prices are around $300. I just snaged a used one from a junk yard for my NP205 along with a nice hydraulic winch set up.

sorry about hi-jacking the post, but what about one for a SM465? would that come from like a wrecker or something and would it work worth a flip to run like an air compressor or anything?

I was planning on putting the 30,000 Lb. winch in my bed and running that but then i found this 10,000 lb one to put up front so i used that instead. You can run darn near anything from a PTO. However one in your tranny will most likely be single speed and one direction unless you happen to find a multi-speed unit. If you run it off the t-case you now have 4 forward and one reverse from your tranny /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If someone wants the 30,000 lb winch i might be interested in selling now that im not going to use it. Shippin it would be a b*tch though. $250 is what i have in it so i would take that. Just remember 2 guys couldnt even lift the damn thing though!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif

Ya but an electric won't pull for very long on just the batterys plus I got my winch for 50 bucks so even if I Pay 300 for the Pto stuff I still come in cheaper than an electric I'd rather have an electric though there a lot lighter /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Local Dana/spicer shop is where I got my PTO box for a NP205. The gears are cut oppisite of each other for a NP205 vs SM465/np203 applications.

while on the topic of PTO's, I vaguely remember reading somewhere of someone running one off a NP203. Any ideas?

Aight, with the PTO on the 205, would you just put the t-case in neutral to use those gears, or would it have to be moving? TIA!
