push button 4wd

    Has anybody tried to put one of the new push button transfer cases behind there 700r4? is it possible? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

    Mechanically it should bolt right up, but I'm not sure how the wiring works. It may be as easy as hooking up a few toggle switches. It should be just as strong as an np241. One problem would be that all of the push-button transfer cases were drivers side drop. It wouldn't work with a GM solid front axle.

    you will need a custom adapter. in 96 gm redesigned the case for the 4l60e, removable bellhousing and also the 4wd is a 5 bolt on the tranny instead of a 4 bolt like ours but i don't think that the tcase patern would be the same
