ok, I swapped to a 32-spline front output shaft on my np205... problem is when I went to slide the shaft back in I knocked a washer loose from somewhere and it fell into the bottom of the case. Question is, where the heck does this thing go?! Pic of it on webshots, direct link is below. I can tell by its inner diameter that it goes on the shaft... but where exactly? In the pic its just slid on the end of the shaft, no idea if that is where it goes... and my chilton only does np208s. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif anyway, take a look and help a brotha out! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Well if I dont talk to ya in time it looks like a washer gos ther but not one w/ the notches in it like that one. the only washers that look like that are on the rear output shaft, but in what looks to be about the same place. I'm lookin at an exploded view right now ....

thanks much rob for the call/help. I got it back together... and when I shift the thing into 4wd... the front, rear, and the input shaft sleeve thing all turn... when in 2wd, only the input and rear output turn (the front turns to, but if u hold it it doesnt and the others turn freely)... so i guess it works. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif thanks again!
