I think the small ones are 750 and the larger ones are 850 but they are not 4 eq size barrels. The secondaries are bigger than the main so you still get decent fuel economy for a truck.

    Re: Q-Jet for sale

so more of us sterpid folks... bigger rear barrels means spread bore?

Needless to say I am interested. but need to know if it will fit my intake first. if it will fit, I'll take it. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

I am running an Edelbrock 1406, on an edelbrock intake.

    Re: Q-Jet for sale

Looking at that manifold you will need an adapter to make a Q-jet work. It has a square bore bolt pattern while the q-jet is a spread bore.

The adapter would look like this:

However you may loose some power from the open plenum.

    Re: Q-Jet for sale

The loss of is a 50/50 chance...my dad installed a 1406 on a stock gm intake with that spacer and he has no loss of power, but you are going reverse, so like i said, 50/50 chance.

    Re: Q-Jet for sale

screw it... I will need something bigger than this 600cfm edelbrock when I get done with the rebuild... so I will go ahead and take the Q-Jet...

What r u up to this weekend? I am going to be heading to Albany either sat or sun... we could meet somewhere around the end of 205?
