did you have to move the E-brake pedal at all to get the kick panels to fit or did you have to move anything else?
    Thanks

I had to pull it loose while I installed new kick panels, but it bolted up fine after the panel was in place.

Do these panels inhance bass at all compared to say door cut speakers? I was debating about getting them since it would be nice to have a bit more sound up front w/out the subs in up front

Thats a hard question to answer. I had Infinity Kappa's 6.5 2's in mine. That was a 6.5" midrange speaker and a 3/4" tweeter. Also mounted behind the kick panel was a crossover that blocked out the lower frequencies. I do recomened this set up, but still run some subs in the back.

do you know if the panels will fit into a 74 no hassle, the website says 78-91, i don't think any changes were made on the front interior portions of the blazer between those years.

Just got done putting mine in an 83, and I am way impressed. They were an easy install, fit and color match (blue) is perfect, and they are positioned well and sound great. Worth the cash IMHO.

Will it fit my 74 with my cold air ducts on the sides?
It seems the q-logics will interfer with the door and handle.

I'm running a Fosgate Fanatic P component system with a 5 1/2 and a 1" tweeter. Using an Alpine amp (150x2) to run them and they sond great, IMO.

i've got a few questions about those panels. 1st, what do you have to do with the (ok i've gone stupid, is it the hood release of the parking brake release) that mounts on the original kick panel? 2nd, what about the passenger side, do the vent vacuum actuators get in the way. and 3rd do you have Pics of them installed?

    thanks

Okay I am gonna take a quick poll for those that have these, Did you take off your original kick panels or leave them on. What are the pro's or con's of these two options?

When mounting the kickpanels, you just throw em in over top of your old ones. The hood release handle unbolts, put in the panel, then mount it (hood release) back on the Q-Logic unit. It has the holes drilled for this and 2 more close to the firewall on the drivers side. On the passenger side, it has the holes drilled for mounting the little half-sphere outer piece that houses the vacuum actuator. That piece mounts on top of the kick panel. I will take some pics tomorrow and put em up so you can see for yoursef since I suck at explaining [censored] like this...
