    Did Chevrolet or G.M.C. offer a 1987 454 E.F.I. 4x4 1ton?
    Any feedback will be appreciated
    Thanks

I put the ttt there because I want more than one response (not saying heavy4x4 doesn't know his stuff!) so that when I go and place some wanted ads for something I don't end up looking like an idiot due to the fact that what I want doesn't exist or was never made!

Swanson52 what does your buddy think of his truck?
I'm planning on buying the truck and putting either a 6 or 8 inch lift on it, some run-flat 37 inch. Goodyear Wrangler MTR's (if there is such a thing!) on beadlocks, installing rear disc's, front and rear heavy duty bumpers with either a 12,000 lbs. or PTO winch and last but not least putting a compressor on it so I can inflate or deflate the tires at will

Stop wasting your time and go and look for one.
You need this time your wasting here to get this thing and modify it the way you stated.
You will have a killer truck if you have the funding to do what you want.

He really likes it (wishes it was a shortbox, though). He runs a 4 inch lift with 35's, and the truck as a 4 speed. He has added headers and exhaust, and it runs awesome. A cousin of mine has swapped in a FI 454 into a early 80's crew cab SRW 1-ton with a 5 speed; they are both very happy with the performance of a mildly modified FI 454.
