Does a 700R4 from an '89 K5 have a 30 spline input shaft? Im buying a new tranny... any other things I might need to know/make sure of when buying it?

I could be wrong, but I think it's 27 spline.

'82-'84 had 27 spline input (for torque convertor), all after that were 30 spline. don't confuse this with the tailshaft spline (for the driveshaft or transfer case adapter) which is 27 spline on all 700R-4 and turbo 350's.
