    No National Park very near me, but I do live at the edge of Pike National Forest. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    That's more true with Utah than Colorado. I think the Feds own something like 75% of the land area in Utah.

    Most of us live in what is called the front range. You could also call it the I-25 corridor, right along the interstate or within about 15-30 miles of it. Right at the foot of the mountains.
