question about how to change Dana44 from fulltime to part time

    I bought this

    it has these

    and I have had these in the garage for a year or so

    How do you convert the fulltime Dana44 to have lockouts /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif
    if it stays full time how will that work with my 208 if its in 2w-hi? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    The diff you have pictured is an external hub design and the manual locking hubs you have pictured are internal desing, the hubs you have pictured will not work with that diff. You need to find manual locking hubs for external style.

    whats that axle from? a chevy? i dont think ive seen hubs like those befor.

    I watched it drop out from under a 77 3/4ton GMC Thursday /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
