    Question about installing 10\" sub

Can I just tap into my right rear factory 4x10 speaker wire to run a single 10" sub? I have an amp that only has RCA inputs. I am guessing that the factory stereo (1996 Tahoe) does not have pre-outs. Will I have to get one of those things that only allows the sub to play bass? All I want is a little more bass........

You'll need a line level converter that will change deck power to RCA. Power will still need to be run along with power on.... run speaker wires from amp to speaker..... Yes you'll have to use a crossonver on the woofer......Eather eletric or passive...... What kind of amp are we talking about?
