It's a Canon BJC-2000. I just put new color and B&W cartridges in and it's not printing a thing. Not a single speck. What should I look at or try to fix?

did you try a test page? Try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers too, sometimes they will get corrupted

Do the cartridges have a piece of tape or plastic wrap covering the ink jets?

If you lightly press the cartridges against a piece of paper and hold them there for a minute or so is there ink on the paper when you lift them up? The hp cartridges I used to have to check would always give some ink if they were good, although Cannon cartdriges may be different.

Not sure with Cannon but I have received bad cartridges from HP before. They were brand new and full but the printer would not recognize them. Ended up having to send them back. Anyway... just a thought.

Have you tried to have the cartridges cleaned and aligned? You should be able to do that through the printer program.

It may be that you installed white cartridges. I didn't even know they sold white cartridges. Can you tell me where you bought it ? /forums/images/icons/wink.gif /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif J/K
