that is right but there are kits to change it over to a part time.

I believe the NP203 is fulltime (unless converted) you may be thinking of the NP208 which is part-time.

If you didn't build it yourself, how can you call it yours.......?

Yeah, but the 208 wasn't available until 1981.

Anybody planning on checking out my homepage, forget it, I am still working on it!!!

If you have a manuel tranny then it would be a 205 and it is part time.

I thought I was wrong once,
    but I was mistaken

I've never done it myself, but you can adjust the shifter linkage on a NP203 so that it shifts easier and doesn't pop out of Loc mode. I think there's a grease zit somewhere over there too, but not sure. (Who could grease it anyway?)

You can adust the linkage. If you have a haynes it show the procedure in there. You basically put a drill in the hole at the side of the shifter box in the neutral position. I cleaned my shifter it was full of rust. I greased it after I did not see any grease fittings though.

When i called the guy he was like "i got the 4wheel drive adjusted so that it slips in real easily"
So I don't know what that means. If it's fulltime why does it have to slip into 4wheel? Or maybe He has a new tcase? He has had many other parts replaced...
