question about where the exhaust has to exit

    does the exhaust have to exit past the trucks body? or can it be "dumped" after the axle?

    I was told in Texas it has to be past the passenger compartment. If its a pick up, just past the cab.

    on a blazer does that mean all the way out the back? or can i cut it off after the axle??? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    Well unless your into that whole death by carbon monoxide thing then your best bet is to keep out from under any part of the cab, which in a blazer means the whole body. So either out the side or out the back somewhere.

    i think it needsto clear the truck. i had my tailpipe hacked off right under the bed and it wouldn't pass inspection. i think it needs to clear the body.
